Nick Bosa plays a very important role for the San Francisco 49ers beyond his devastating prowess for pressuring the quarterback.
The 2022 Defensive Player of the Year delivers a speech to the team the night before each game, and those speeches have become the stuff of legend. So it's no surprise that general manager John Lynch enlisted Bosa to get him pumped up for the new season as the Niners revealed their 2024 schedule.
Well, kind of.
With Bosa resting up on his boat back home in Florida, Lynch instead turned to Steph Sanchez, a cult figure among 49ers fans on social media for her remarkable impression of Bosa, to serve as his replacement.
Sanchez graced the 49ers' locker room and, naturally while donning his No. 97 jersey, the weight room as she delivered an impassioned message in Bosa's famously loquacious style.

Her efforts didn't appear to impress Bosa too much, who interjected: "I don't sound like that, do I?"
Despite his protestations, it's difficult to fault Sanchez's hilarious impression of the 49ers' star pass rusher.
So impressive was her performance, perhaps the 49ers will instead look to her for some more rallying cries during the 2024 season as San Francisco looks to finally get over its Super Bowl hump.
