5 Days till Kickoff for BYU

The College Football Season is getting closer. With 5 days left until BYU kickoffs against South Florida let’s get to know some players on the roster for this upcoming season. This will give fans an idea of where these players have come from and what they could do for the cougars this season. I will do one every day there is a player with that number.

Dallin Holker

Today is Dallin Holker junior tight end 6-5 240 lbs. Before coming to BYU he played for Lehi High School. He also served his mission in Chile. Holker was also recruited by Kansas, Nebraska, Oregon State, Utah, Utah State, Hawaii, Colorado State, and UCLA. Played in 2018 in 13 games and had 235 yards and one touchdown. Last season he played in 11 games and had 183 yards and one touchdown.

D’Angelo Mandell

Today is D’Angelo Mandell senior defensive back 6-1 191 lbs. Before coming to BYU he played for Del Norte High School in California. He was also recruited by USC, Washington, Washington State, and Vanderbilt. In 2018 he played in 13 games and had nine tackles. In 2019 he played in 13 games and had 21 tackles and one quarterback hit. 2020 he played in 8 games and had six tackles and one pass break up. Last season he played in 11 games and had 30 tackles and two pass break ups.
